At all times, the problem of friendship has been the focus of writers. Therefore, to prepare for the exam in the Russian language, good literary examples are needed that reveal this topic. You can find them in this collection and download at the end of the article in the form of a table.
False and true friendship
- M. Yu. Lermontov, “A Hero of Our Time”. In this work, we can trace the development of the relationship between the protagonist, Grigory Pechorin, and his colleague, cadet Grushnitsky. It’s hard to call their relations friendly, the heroes very poisonously affect each other’s lives: envy, anger, pride are definitely not the qualities that cause mutual sympathy. Pechorin makes it clear from his acquaintance that he despises friendly feelings, yet he outwardly tries to show his disposition, but in reality, the young people did not love each other simply for who they are, which in the final piece led to a tragic outcome - the murder of Grushnitsky. This example shows that between two selfish and obsessed with their pride people can not have warm friendly relations, they will destroy each other again and again.
- I. S. Turgenev, “Fathers and Sons”. Arkady Kirsanov and Evgeny Bazarov are the main characters of the novel, two representatives of a new generation, however, who do not share common interests. At the beginning of the novel, we see that Arkady wants to imbue a friend's thinking style, but over time he himself understands that they are too different. The main difference in their worldview is their idea of the meaning of human life, of his place in the world. By the end of the work, the heroes finally break the ties, Arkady even refuses to remember the deceased Eugene, the differences between the heroes were so serious.
Friendship of opposites
- I. A. Goncharov, “Oblomov”. Oblomov and Stolz, although different in nature by nature, but their friendship is truly strong and tested over the years. While still little boys, the heroes became friends, studying together in a boarding house. Despite the fact that they are complete opposites. their friendship is still strong, because they were able to find each other's true virtues. Stolz always helps out a non-self-friend, helps solve life difficulties and does it completely disinterestedly. And even after the death of a friend, he continues to take care of his family.
- L. N. Tolstoy, “War and Peace”. The main characters of the novel, Andrei Bolkonsky and Pierre Bezukhov, are united by the desire to know themselves, the formation of spirit and worldview, they both want to bring something good and right to this world. Even despite some differences, such as age and social status, a true friendship arises between the characters, they respect each other's opinions and aspirations for self-development. Bolkonsky and Bezukhov learn from each other, help to know the world and themselves.
Friendship destruction problem
- A. Pushkin, "Eugene Onegin." A good example of the destruction of friendship can be called the relationship of Onegin and Lensky. At first glance, the heroes have something in common, but life has made them completely different people. Onegin put himself above a friend, considered himself more conscious, was friends with Lensky more out of boredom due to the lack of another choice. The conflict against the backdrop of the love line, which became a test of friendship of young people, leads to the death of Vladimir and the expulsion of Eugene.
- A. Pushkin, Dubrovsky. The plot of the novel is based on the enmity of two main characters - Andrei Dubrovsky and Kirill Troekurov. Wonderful and true friendship that began in youth, at first glance, grew into a terrible conflict because of a little absurdity. The reason was the accidental insult of Dubrovsky by a servant of Troekurov, it would seem that after this you should not take a long offense against a friend, but the heroes chose a different path. Kirill Petrovich seeks that a friend takes legal property. Dubrovsky fell ill and died of grief, and his son went along a criminal path, because he himself was brazenly robbed.
The role of friendship in human life
- I. Goncharov, "Oblomov". In this novel, we show the friendly relations of Stolz and Oblomov, two different young people, however, so close and complementary. Despite the differences in the way of thinking and life, Andrei takes care of Ilya, who is lazy all the time and does not see the point in work, while Stolz himself tries to be always on the move. He is trying to get a friend out of his bad state, wants to show him the charms of the world and make him do something useful. Oblomov needs such a friend, he needs such a sincere and caring friendship.
- F. M. Dostoevsky, “Crime and Punishment”. In this novel, the friendship of two heroes is revealed - Raskolnikov and Razumikhin. Rodion is absorbed in his idea of a superman, his mind is cloudy, the darkness has closed his good thoughts. Razumikhin, realizing this, is trying to help a friend, protect him before the “letter of the law”, arguing that Raskolnikov is a good person with many positive qualities. Rodion needs Dmitry, his friendship saves a young man lost on the path of life.
